Our survey let us know that many people are familiar with air purifiers and UV light, allowing us to figure out that people would be comfortable buying our product. We also saw that a lot of the participants have allergies, which would mean our purifier would have a place in the market. Our research has shown the best light frequencies to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and airborne allergens is 264 nanometers. As we furthered our research we found that UVC light is best for our product since it has light frequencies ranging from 100-290 nanometers, meaning it can eliminate germs, allergens, and bacteria very well.
